Playlists
528Hz Frequency
I’m fascinated by the impact different frequencies have on our brains. I listen to 528Hz a lot at work when I need to focus or feel like the pressure is mounting. Science aside, these playlists instantly transport me straight to a dreamy spa! This one is bookmarked on my work laptop.
Subscriptions
Gaia
Gaia.com has a bank of videos, playlists and teachings (including a section on sound healing if that’s your thing)
Headspace
The Headspace app remains my personal favourite. I regularly use their one-off guided meditations, short courses and soundscapes.
Calm
The Calm app does a great trial offer for free.
Books
B. K. S. Iyengar
For those delving further into the world of yoga, Iyengar’s books are a great place to start: ‘Light on Yoga’, ‘Light on Pranayama’, and ‘Light on Life’
James Nestor
‘Breath’ by James Nestor is a fascinating read - especially if you’re a mouth breather!
Kirsty Gallagher
And if you love the moon as much as I do, I can’t recommend Kirsty Gallagher’s book ‘Lunar Living’ enough! The accompanying Lunar Living Journal is great too.
Generally Wonderful Women
Other inspiration women I recommend following are...
Alex Elle and Lalah Delia - for high vibrational living and inspiring journal prompts
Lorna Mann - for live journaling sessions and personalised journals
Venetia LaManna - for tips on living a more eco-conscious life
Celeste Pereira, Shona Vertue and Lara Heimann - for yoga and movement tips with a focus on anatomy and physiology
Yoga Your Way
Here’s to finding our way from frazzled, foggy and achey to calm, clear and ready to take on another day.
